Huge Rc car jumps on a BMX track with the Sc8.2e

Huge Rc car jumps are awesome. Controlling your rc on huge jumpgs isn’t always that easy. Doing huge rc car jumps with a rc car that tends to nose dive is a massive stress for the materials as well as for the rc driver. Everything could break or bend on rc car jumps. It makes jumping more difficult when you have a short course truck or a rc car where the wheels are under the body. So the wheels cannot convert the rotation that good as you probably know it from monster trucks, truggies or buggies. The other thing is the „parachute“ effect. Air cannot flow correctly through the body and lifts the whole truck at the end of the body. So the truck tends to nose dive and crash with full force with the front to the ground.

If you still want to perform huge rc car jumps you need to modify the body. In case of the 1:8 short course truck from team associated, you need to cut holes into the body. Holes in the front, holes in the front windshield as well holes at the rear of the body, so air can flow through.
