ECX Torment 1/18 Brushless Bashing
Ecx torment 1/18 brushless upgrading was a neceessery step because the stock ecx torment 1/18 was sooooo slow with the brushed motor that you could run faster than the truck. The next step was upgrading the EXC Torment 1/18 and the difference was mind blowing. I upgraded the stock electronics with a mamba micro pro esc. As a motor I used first a leopard 2040 4800kv.
The ECX Torment 1/18 brushed with the stock NIMH battery pack topped out at 21.9 km/h
The ECX Torment 1/18 brushed with a 2S lipo topped out at 25.4 km/h
The ECX Torment 1/18 Brushless with the leopard 2040 topped out at 60.0 km/h at 2S
The ECX Torment 1/18 Brushless with the sky rc toro 6100kv motor topped out 69.0 km/h at 2S with a shorter gearing.

Das Ecx torment 1:18 brushless Upgrade war eine Notwenigkeit, da der original ECX Torment 1:18 so langsam war, dass man nebenbei herlaufen konnte. Der Bürstenmotor, der hier verbaut wurde zählt eher zum Spielzeug oder könnte eventuell für kleine RC Crawler verwendet werden. Daher war der nächste logische Schritt, den kleinen Torment umzubauen. Nach dem Umbau war der Unterschied gewaltig. Das EXC Torment 1:18 Brushless upgrade hatte sich definitiv ausgezahlt, da es mich kaum was gekostet hatte. Als Regler wurde ein Mamba Micor Pro verwendet. Beim Motor kam zunächst ein Leopard 2040 Motor mit 4800kv zum Einsatz
Der ECX Torment 1:18 Brushed mit Standardmotor und NIMH Batteriepack ging laut GPS 21.9 km/h schnell.
Der ECX Torment 1:18 brushed mit Standardmotor und 2S Lipos ging 25.4 km/h schnell
Der ECX Torment 1:18 Brushless mit dem Leopard 2040 war schon mehr als doppelt so schnell, nämlich 60.0 km/h auf 2S
Der ECX Torment 1:18 Brushless mit einem Sky RC Toro Motor mit 6100kv war dann schon schneller, nämlich 69.0 km/h auf 2S mit kürzerer Getriebeuntersetzung.
